About the Role
We are currently in search of a seasoned behavior therapist to augment our team, aiding children with Autism to grasp life-enhancing skills. The therapist will enact treatment objectives guided by a clinical mentor, impart functional skills to learners, and help them forge wholesome coping techniques. An innate talent for bonding with children and crafting an invigorating, playful ambiance is crucial.
Providing support to patients in developing language, play, social, and self-help skills.
Specifically focusing on children between the ages of 1-6 who are on the Autism
Maintaining comprehensive records and
Keeping parents informed of their child’s progress throughout the day.
Adapting and remaining flexible in response to student program and behavior plan
Implementing BCBA recommendations and incorporating feedback to ensure optimal
Ensuring the preservation of client dignity by always creating a compassionate and
Creating a vibrant, engaging, and inclusive learning environment overall that promotes
Requirements
To excel as a behavior therapist, one must demonstrate qualities like compassion, patience, and empathy when interacting with our students. The objective is to actively resonate with students, cultivate trust, and precisely gauge their needs in real time.
Furthermore, the prerequisites include
A Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, education, or a related field.
RBT certification is strongly recommended.
Proven experience in behavior therapy.
In-depth knowledge of behavioral therapy models.
Previous experience working with children.
Experience with ABA preferred but not required.
Sound collaborative skills.
Great communication skills.

For this role, we offer a competitive hourly rate ranging from $13-17, based on experience and health benefits for those working full-time (30 hours/week).
